Construction management involves the supervision and management of construction sites to achieve the successful completion of a contract on time, on budget, and to a high standard. If you’re good with people and a clear decision-maker, this course could be right for you. This course is open to students already working in the construction industry. It has been designed to further extend your construction knowledge while working around your work commitments. Our tutors are industry experts; small class sizes ensure you’ll get all the support you need to succeed. There is the right balance of applied theory and problem-solving skills to grab the construction management jobs that are popping up all over the country. If you’re detail-oriented with great communication skills and enjoy taking charge, this is the place for you. It’s more than a course – it’s your chance to make things happen! Upon successfully completing the requirements you'll receive the award of: New Zealand Diploma in Construction (Construction Management) (Level 6)2.5 years full-time, including holidays (if applicable) If you already work in the industry you’ll have the option to study the course on campus and online, alternating tutorial days and times on a 2-week rotation. Week one, you’ll attend 1 full day on-campus tutorials or online at set times. Week two, you’ll attend 1-2 evening classes on-campus or online at set times. While there is an online tutorial option, there is a minimum requirement of days you must attend on-campus tutorials. You’ll also have access to additional course materials online and study these in your own time.
