Both roles are vital in delivering time-sensitive construction projects in a cost-effective and safe manner. The degree emphasises the key skills required by the construction sector, ensuring that you’ll be well-prepared for your professional career with an internationally recognised qualification relevant to both local and global construction industries.
The Bachelor of Construction is fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the leading international construction professional body. You’ll be eligible for RICS accreditation if you successfully complete a Bachelor of Construction major and the Professional Practice minor. The Quantity Surveying major is also accredited by the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS). As part of your degree, you also have the option to include courses from a second minor or elective courses
